Marilyn Taylor Wilkinson

COLLECTED MATERIAL

I was guest speaker on the cruise ship Seabourn in December, 2003, and after the session Mrs Wilkinson gave me the words of this song. She had it from her father who had it from his parents. She said it was popular in Australia in the 1890s. Her parents came from Wales. Mrs Wilkinson said she had carried the song for over sixty years thinking it quite unusual and in remembrance of her father who loved singing it.
